ZINE FAQ
Q : What is a zine?
A : A fanzine (blend of fan and magazine or -zine) is a non-professional and non-official publication produced by enthusiasts of a particular cultural phenomenon (such as a literary or musical genre) for the pleasure of others who share their interest. In this zine, we all unite through our love for the FanXie/XieFan ship!Q : What is the theme of this zine?
A : This zine would primarily revolve around the relationship of the two characters. Either in Canon or AUs.Q : How old should I be if I wanted to apply as a contributor?
A : This zine would be a FREE digital zine, but we prefer to have contributors at least at the age of 16 when applying.Q : Will there be NSFW content?
A : For now, the current mods decided it will be PG-13. This could change after the Interest Check phase!Q : Are any variation on the relationship dynamic is allowed?
A : This zine will accept whether you ship it as FanXie/Wujian (Black Guard x White Guard) or XieFan/Bijiu (White Guard x Black Guard). Be mindful to not force your preferences to the contributors as it will be sorted during the Creation phase.Q : Will you go through our accounts?
A : We will only go through the samples and portfolio link you sent to us to be judged.Q : Will you accept merch artist?
A : The answer depends on the Interest Check result. But if we do, we will accept digital merch artist!INFORMATION
The relationship between the Black Guard and the White Guard does not count as incestuous. For their relationship are being sworn brothers, which can be interpreted as platonically or romantically. Both have different surnames and came from two different family. Both share similar features due to both of their soul being stuck in one body. But we won't accept any applicators who depict the two as actual brothers/half brother in a romantical relationship. We do, however, accept a platonical relationship depiction of the two. Q : Are you accepting writers?
A : We do! We will estimate the number of writers we will have after the Interest Check phaseQ : Will you accept merch artist?

A : You may! But you will only be accepted to one position if you do.Q : What are the requirements for Artist Applications?
A : We will need 3-5 sample of art preferably with background and a link of your portfolio or Google Drive link that can be accessed by the mods. Your social Media accounts are welcomed.Q : What are the requirements for Writers Applications?
A : We need at least 2 or 3 samples of your writing and/or completed fics. A link to your AO3 would also be accepted.Q : What are the requirements for Merch Artist Applications?
A : We would need 3-5 samples of art preferably chibi or any merchandise style and a link to your portfolio or Google Drive link that is accessibled by the mods.Q : Do we need to draw WuChang as a sample?
A : Your samples do not need to be WuChang oriented, although if you do so, It would be highly recommended.

Make sure it is SFW, please avoid submitting NSFW piecesIt is not obligatory to have an IDV piece or WuChang piece. But it is recommended.
Feel free to submit your portfolio links either a google drive, Instagram post, twitter post, or another website that is accessible. If said piece can't be accessible, we will not contact you for it.It is not mandatory but you are allowed to specify if either your pieces are FanXie/XieFan/Platonic centric.ARTIST
3-5 of your best works (recommended to have any IDV piece or WuChang piece). It should at least have a simple background, waist up body art of a fullbody.Writers

FanXie is my main ship and I am an absolute sucker for angst love stories. Goddamnit NE they just wanna be together!

I love them so much because of how they deserved better. They just wanna be happy together but the world is too cruel to them. I love their lore, their appearance, their skins, their love for each other, their loyalty, everything. They're the only reason why I still keep playing Identity V.

I love wuchang and xiefan because they just have such an interesting backstory and I love how unique their designs are. I also love their dynamic!

Graphic ModGeneral Guidelines for Applicants
1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old when applying
2. Zine experience isn't necessary. But will be considered a plus!
3. Portfolio or samples are required so we can determine it! Portfolio samples for both Co-Art and Co-Writer Mods are similar to contributor portfolios, please check it out
4. Please make sure all links are accessible
5. You are expected to be working with us for at least 6 months for the whole process. Applying means you have acknowledged said information.

CO-ART MOD
The Art Mod is the one in charge with the artist, making sure their pieces are ready and well put together for the zine. You will be paired up with our Head Art Mod, Hei!
Duties of the Art Mod
— In charge of judging of the artist/merch artist applications
— Overseeing the art part of the zine : giving feedback, guiding the artist, helping with the revisionsCO-WRITER MOD
The Writing Mod is the one in charge with the writers, making sure their pieces are ready and well put together for the zine. You will be paired up with our Head Writing Mod, Synthe!
Duties of the Writing Mod
— In charge of judging of the writing applications
— Overseeing the writer part of the zine : giving feedback, guiding the writers, helping with the revisionsLAYOUT MOD
The Layout Mod is in charge of piecing the zine together. Having to piec3 at least 30+ pieces and is able to work on a deadline. You will work closely to the Head Mod, Khali!
--In charge of laying out the zine
--Must be able to work with at least 30-50+ pieces
--Must have and able to use a graphics layout program such as InDesign, and able to transfer it into PDF
--Will be given months to prep up, but is given one month to piece the zine together at the very leastGRAPHIC MOD
The Graphic Mod is in charge of the graphic designs for the zine. Whether it'll be used for social media purposes or promo purposes. You will work closely to the Head Mod, Khali!
--Must have any design programs with working knowledge such as Photoshop or CSP
--Work with art to create graphics and create full graphic designs based on artistic creativity
--Work with the team to create graphics based on informations and discussions
--Quick in communications, especially towards graphic changes and posting schedules
